What i learn today

Life is not easy. You interact with people and you try to live to the fullest, without neglecting the principles of life that you believe. however when dealing with people, you never know when you strive to live in your ideal life, you hurt people without knowing and people hold grudge unto you and when you have to face the reality, people actually hate you. You try to limit the interaction as little as possible but as impossible as it sounds, you could never escape.

Thus what i learn and what i can conclude , in interacting with people:
  1. Never ever think positive, those people actually hate you
  2. Never assume, as assumption is very dangerous
  3. When you have problem with certain people, settle the problem, never keep it
  4. Never blame, never attack, ask first
  5. Never post your frustration on newspaper, social network or whatever, better deal personally with the people first, maybe that person has the reason.
  6. Never listen from one side, as the other side might have different stories
  7. When people act differently from your logic, find out the reason
  8. Don't spread out stories before you figure out the real situation
  9. If you want to advice, never use harsh word even if you think that person is at fault.
  10. When you think you are at the right side, never forget the opposite party also think the same thing
  11. When people did some mistake in the past, or when people did something that annoy you, never use it back to judge or even attack that person. you never know, whether that person realize that he/she has done the mistake, sometimes, you yourself see things in a wrong way
  12. Never use intermediaries in solving problems, sentences may be interpreted differently if other people say them. better you yourself convey the message
  13. apologize and forgive even if you think you are at the right side. this also apply to the outsiders
  14. Be open and welcome critics
There are actually many things that i learn today. All of these come from the real story. I directed this to myself and also to the others. I admit I made mistake and I hope others will do the same things. You never know when will the same problem strike you. I really really appreciate it if those who have problems with me before, present or in the future come and discuss personally with me. InsyaAllah, with open heart, I will try to accept. but one thing for sure, I do my best and hope for the best in everything I do. Not only the best for me, but for others too.

Tactic

The story goes like this:

A girl's wandering around the booths wanna look around. Then she saw a booth with lots of magazines. Seems interesting, she wanted to stop by the booth. A second she was there, a man approached her asking what she's looking for. The girl said nothing, just wanna have a look. Then the man explained that they have promotion where the girl can subscribe a magazine worth RM700 +/- for one year with only RM500 plus other two monthly magazines for free. The girl's understood and just nodding while listening to the man.

Sounds good but it's not my priority, so the girl thought.

When the man finished explaining, he suddenly took out the receipt book asking the girl to write her name, address and contact number. Confused, the girl told him that she hasn't even decided to buy. The man said "that's okay, just write your particular and pay the deposit, RM50 or RM100 either one is okay and come again tomorrow". The girl didn't know what to do. She didn't want to buy and wanted to refuse politely, but it seems the man didn't want to understand.

The girl gave excuses that she doesn't have cash, the man said the ATM is around, she wants to think first and come again later, the man said you must come, I have already remembered you. The girl became annoyed, then she said, "I have to discuss with my mum first, I'm not a rich girl you know. Moreover, if I give deposit, what if I suddenly don't want to buy?" The man was silenced. Then finally he said to the girl, "okay, just write in your particular, but it will be good if you have made up your mind to buy and come back tomorrow".

Satisfied, the girl filled in the particular, took the business card handed to her and left the booth swearing not to come again!!

Jeez... what the heck! no one has right to force someone to do or to buy whatever he doesn't want to. This thing will only makes one afraid to come to your shop again. I know la you will only open your booth for 3 days and want to sell as much as possible and doesn't have to worry whether you customers will run or not. But it will be better if you respect other's right to choose and show your professionalism in business.

Haiya, I'm familiar la with this tactic, have encountered one when I went to optician to survey on contact lenses which ended up having forced to buy one. lucky I really really don't have cash at that time. Sorry to disappoint you, businessman.

Addiction

my friend asks: why long time not update your blog? i need something to read
me: i have one thing to write about, but need to study about that first
my friend: no need to write about heavy heavy stuff la.. light light okay what..

Hmm.. simple issue,
well lets talk about addiction..
addiction simply said, craving for something. sometimes we crave for good stuff, but sometimes we also crave for bad stuff. when we are addicted to something, it's very hard to stop and hard to control. i, too, get addicted. my addiction goes to:

1. sunflower seeds
whenever i go shopping, i will never forget to buy sunflower seeds or Malay word: kuaci. even when my mum goes to work, i never miss asking her to buy me one or two packets of sunflower seeds. just recently, my mum bought me a big plastic consisting of 10 packets of kuaci and i finished them in just 3 days. OMG, I'm severely addicted to this one. the bad thing about kuaci is they create too many waste, always need plastic bag around.

2. internet
i think I'm gonna die without internet. i started getting addicted to internet when i was about 15. i cried and begged my mum to install dial-up telekom internet in my house. i even promised my mum to pay RM1/hour of use, just like cyber cafe. i can't help laughing whenever i remember there is one tabung on the computer desk. however, after months i was just like forgotten the promise i made with my mum and the tabung was kept empty.
now, with modem and sim card, i can browse internet whenever and wherever i want. with internet i will always keep updated about what's happening in the world and i always keep terlajak until hours just browsing news, you tube, blogs etc etc. so, my time to study is always getting interrupted. hope it's not affecting my result but I'm sure it did already.

3. manga and anime

first manga i read was Doraemon, then my friend introduced me to Yuyu Hakusho, Pakar Judo, Penyiasat remaja then i found Kreko. after that i keep on buying and collecting manga. . i allocated about RM 30 every month just for manga. after years, i found that i have one full cabinet of manga. my dad failed to stop my addiction and my mum even said it's okay if my result is not affected. just recently when i came to Kuantan i felt it's hard to buy them, so i switched to online manga. the bad thing is i cannot collect them. i want material manga, not the virtual one.
i'm not so into anime. but i once spend all my 3 months salary of my after-SPM-job to buy anime. Hoho, what an expensive way to spend your money

4. shopping
Hmm.. it is an addiction?? well, when I'm going out, i can't help but buy whatever things i think i want. even though i already planned what i wanna buy, in the end, i end up buying just anything. until now, it seems i will never spend less than RM100 whenever I'm going out. so to avoid overspending, i just spend my day inside IIUM.

5._ _ _ _
haha. i think i will keep this one a secret. very-very hard to stop. remember when i sad bad stuff, this one is a bad stuff. Oops, tikah, maybe you know what i mean, just keep quiet. anyway, just pray i can stop this one.

There goes my addiction list. maybe there are few other things that i forget to mention. just hoping the addiction won't affected my normal life.

then, what're you addicted to?

You do anything long enough to escape the habit of living until the escape becomes the habit. - David Ryan

Food Hijacking? Don't be stupid

"We cannot continue to let other countries hijack our food. Chilli crab is Malaysian. Hainanese chicken rice is Malaysian. We have to lay claim to our food,” she told reporters after launching the Malaysia International Gourmet Festival yesterday."

More, Just read THIS

When Indonesians started to claim everything that we have eaten since we were born to be solely theirs, i instantly think what nonsense they are talking about. Food supposed to be be enjoyed, no to fight over. isn't it nice to know that our preference and our happiness when enjoying the cuisine are also enjoyed by others regardless what their countries and races are. i even thought the silence of Malaysians over food war with Indonesians reflect how mature Malaysians are.

However my thought is shattered when i found a news on Malaysian's food being hijacked by other countries. what the heck. food is not like a plane to be hijacked for. if there are similarities or even the exact same food are being served by others, let it be. that means our food has gone international. what right do we have to stop others to eat the food that we also eat. we do not live in isolated world, so just share what is good and hinder what is bad. I'm afraid this issue will reveal our stupidity and we will be mocked over by the people of the world. Really, how third class mentality do we have here. If you don't want the food to be shared, then don't write recipe books, don't do TV show on food and don't even cook the food.

Geez, we are supposed to go forward, but we actually go backward. We insult on others' stupidity but we don't realize we are also stupid. Just stop being so childish. Even kids can share their candies, why can't we??

Biadap? Bodoh? Tak bertamadun?

Sila baca

NO GAIN WITHOUT PAIN??

Like i have written before, the world works in equilibrium. to get something you have to pay an equal amount. however in some situation, the equilibrium concept might not work. even after you have paid a very big amount, even if you shed tears and bloods, even if you lose your precious time, even if you risk your future in it, you might get little of what's you are hoping for, you may even got nothing. in the end you may even get extra gloomy, extra sadness, extra tears flowing on you cheeks, extra hatred, and you may even hurt yourself.

i try my best not to reveal my anger, not to unveil my disappointment, and i try my best not to write in this blog during the climax of my anger. i hope everything will settle out when the time comes. i try to cope with the problem, i try to be positive, i try to put trust on people, i try to push everything done, but it ends up uselessly. i keep reminding myself to believe that people knows his role, people knows his responsibility and he realizes that we live for something. everyone is born to play his very own role. just realize it and you will know where to stand. you will know why you are here. if you realize that, the system will run smoothly. and you know, you are not responsible only for your own self. others' fate will also depends on you. and it's not a very little thing that you can see with only one eye. it is really a heavy and tough task. everybody else will bear the brunt of what you are doing and also of what you're not doing.

i'm not looking for perfectness. i myself is not perfect. i also blame myself for being so stupid, clumsy, idiot and whatever you can think of. but at least please grant me with your cooperativeness, please grant me with your passion and please grant me your interest. i really don't care if you are slow, i don't care if your cgpa is low than standard and i don't care for whatever you are. but i do care if you think that just ok is enough. I do care if you are so ignorant of what you should do, i do care if you think you can escape from you responsibility and let others burden by it. seriously, please and please change your mindset. world doesn't work that way.

one said marks doesn't reflect of what you are, of what your level of knowledge are, of how good you are. however, this is the measure adapted in the rest of the world. so i really mind of my marks and i advise you should too. one even said don't hate the person but hate the action, but i don't think i can do that. once you break my heart, once you break my trust, i may hate you forever. i may look like this, but i have anger, so don't ever try my patience. i really hate using feeling to manage something. i really hate subjective things, i use objective in most of my doing. so please don't force me to do what i hate the most.

whatever it is, i guess i have to say sorry for those who have listened to my wailing, my whining and cursing. you may hear them again when i'm annoyed, so i apologize in advance...

Gadoh

Since mid semester exam will be coming in less a month, I swear to myself not to waste time surfing the internet anymore. I'm quite addicted and it's hard to control my withdrawal so I broke the promise.

As I surfing and cruising the internet, reading blogs and watching videos in you tube, I found a blog that promote the readers to watch movie titled GADOH.

i spent about two hours tonight just to watch the movie. and you know, usually i will feel guilty after spending hours for internet, but not tonight. I feel content by just watching it. Even though the storyline is simple, but it still worth it. Some of us are still ignorant about this issue even though we have lived together for decades. so I hope this movie will open our eyes on how others see us and also on how we see them and thus will correct our and their false impression. And even if it is true, we can still improve ourselves so that others will never look down on us again.

lets move towards unity and correct the misunderstanding between us.
Peace..

Gadoh part 1
